Meet Inti

Where Inti Begins

Inti is a specialty coffee project built from the ground up. It was born from our love for roasting and our desire to highlight the unique character of every coffee. We believe each bean has its own story to tell, and our job is to listen.

We roast coffee with intention, for drinking with attention. We don’t follow fixed formulas, every coffee is different, and we treat it that way, letting its qualities shine naturally without forcing them.

Before roasting, we take the time to get to know each coffee. We taste it, explore it, and find the profile that best brings out its balance and natural beauty. We work with single-origin coffees, always prioritizing the quality and character of each bean.

Inti is an invitation to slow down. To smell, sip, and enjoy your coffee without rushing, not out of habit. It’s a project always in motion, evolving, but starting fresh with every coffee, always looking to bring out the best in each bean.

We are two Colombians who know exactly what our country has to offer. I’m Camila, and my love for coffee started at home; the smell always seemed so attractive to me. While I was studying pastry, I became fascinated by how much you can do with this one product. Even though I didn’t jump into the coffee world right then, coffee was always on my path.

It was actually being far from home that made me truly fall in love with it. In 2019, my partner and I moved to Australia. I bought a French press and looked for Colombian coffee just to feel a bit closer to my roots. I used to drink it once a week, starting with commercial coffee and no sugar, but I still felt like something was missing. Then, one day, I heard a podcast talking about "specialty coffee." And I thought, “Wait, what is that?”

I took advantage of a trip back to Colombia to find out and bought my first bag of specialty coffee. On the bag, I read about the notes, the farm, the process... I brewed it in my French press and I was honestly blown away. It smelt amazing; it was light, with a lovely acidity and subtle sweet touches that I just loved. From that moment on, I wanted to drink coffee every single day.

We moved to Germany, and I was so surprised to see that the speciality scene here was even more intense. I kept learning, reading books, watching videos, and taking courses. Back then, my husband just saw coffee as a hobby of mine; he’d have a sip and say, "Yeah, it’s good," and that was it. Until one day he asked me: "If you love coffee this much, why don't you make it your job?"

That really stuck with me. We started buying equipment, our first roaster, and my partner got so into it that it’s now his ritual too. These days, he’s the espresso lover and I’m all about filter coffee. And that’s exactly how Inti started.

Our Approach to Coffee

At Inti, every coffee is treated like a new conversation. We don’t start with fixed profiles or repeatable recipes. First, we listen to the coffee, understand it, and then make our decisions.

Roasting is our tool to support what each bean already brings. We mainly work with light and light–medium roasts, aiming for balance, clarity, and letting the coffee’s natural character shine through—without masking it or exaggerating it.

Before settling on a profile, we taste, adjust, and taste again. We take the time to explore until the coffee feels honest, balanced, and true to itself.

We select single-origin, high-quality coffees, always thinking about offering a cup that invites attention. One that encourages you to pause, smell, savor, and share the experience—just like you would with something made with care.

The Coffee

For us, coffee is much more than a drink. It’s a living product, full of nuance, changing with its origin, its process, and the care it receives. That’s why we believe not all coffees should taste the same—or try to.

When we talk about specialty coffee at Inti, we mean coffee with identity. Coffee from a specific origin, with its own unique characteristics, cultivated and processed with care. Our work begins by respecting what the coffee already brings to the table.

We work with single-origin coffees, selected for their quality and character. Each coffee is different, and it’s that difference that we aim to preserve and highlight in every cup.

Roasting is our tool to accompany that character. That’s why we mostly work with light and light–medium roasts, aiming for balance, clarity, and a clean expression of the coffee. We want you to recognize its aromas, flavors, and nuances, without anything hiding them.

Our coffees are meant to be enjoyed with attention. To take the time, explore what’s in the cup, and connect with that particular coffee. It’s not about drinking coffee out of routine, it’s about savoring it as a moment.

Origin & Transparency

At Inti, we see coffee as a chain of people, decisions, and time. That’s why it matters to us to know where each coffee comes from and how it was handled long before it reaches our hands. We believe quality begins at origin, not at the roaster.

We work with single-origin coffees and clear information about how they were grown and processed. We care about well-made coffee, of course, but also about respect for the product and for the people behind it. Listening to the coffee also means valuing the path it has taken.

We don’t promise to change the world with a cup of coffee. What we do promise is to make conscious decisions. We select our coffees through relationships with importers who share our way of seeing coffee: clarity, traceability, and close connections with producing communities. This allows us to work responsibly and offer high-quality coffees, with a more human and honest view of the entire supply chain.

For us, transparency isn’t a label. It’s simply the way we choose to work.
